beaubri, yes that’s going to happen, the more shit you go through seems to kill your enthusiasm, but the only way to combat that is not think of the good old days, cause really the good old days really weren’t that good, and tomorrow can be much better if you think positive. learn and live better than the good old days!
Your style is quite striking.
I can’t say I’ve ever gone back and checked pictures of myself. I always tried to avoid having them taken in the first place, so there can’t be any great number of them. In terms of grins, though, I was always admonished to “SMILE” when I had my picture taken. Even when I thought I was, it was “smile!” “smile!” ‘why the fuck aren’t you smiling yet!’ ad nauseam.
Forgive me, I’ve spent time thinking myself in circles trying to create timelines of events, wondering how it all came to whatever I call THIS. You’ve such lively eyes in the second picture.
The truth:
Pain never looks as good as happiness.
Others around you can obviously see the pain… often it’s just easier for others to justify denial.
For all else on this subject, I agree with rocketman…no sense in reliving the past that we over-glorify and conveniently mind-edit anyway.
The only way to garner the future smiles though is through delving into where we presently are, and then take action… but then i suppose the search for that fitting course of action is why we’re all here.

You’re pretty either way. 🙂

I agree with nepheliad. But even so, it aches to see the world crushing someone as sweet and bright as you. I’m very sorry.
