Iwantpeace2, we think we are suffering alone, and in a sense we are suffering alone, but everyone is suffering if not now then later, in other words we are focused on our self’s and that’s normal, but everyone is suffering.
Humans are selfish. I’m using the broadest definition of the term selfish here. As long as we view others as being separate from ourselves, we will never experience the level of empathy necessary to alleviate the suffering (and by “we” I mean the human race in general).
Life isn’t an error. Errors happen when you try to multiply by zero on a calculator, or forget to carry the 1. Life is a spontaneous happening – it just burst into being one day and has carried on over countless generations. If it were an error, we wouldn’t be here to notice it.
From my experience: I read posts here and in that MOMENT I don’t feel so alone, but essentially, we are alone. When I close this site or when I’m done distracting myself with people on Twitter, I’m alone. So that’s how I feel no matter what. We all have to face our challenges alone even though there are others who may be going through the same thing. That’s just the way I look at it.
