I need some support. I am slightly happier and less kill-myselfy when I am not smoking cigarettes. (I am not giving up the ocassional joint because that would surely kill me.) I need to hear some external wisdom. When I buy cigarettes it is an indication that I am feeling weak and sad. I dont need cigarettes. They smell and I am ashamed of this weakness. Anyone have any valuable and relevant wisdom to keep me clean(ish)?

Nicotine addiction is a bear to beat.
1) Don’t beat yourself up for failing to quit or slow down. 2) Try vaping. Once you get used to it you can step down the ejuice strength. 3) Wellbutrin works. It’s subtle and you may have to take it for a while. It makes nicotine less “fun”. 4) Stay busy.
Welbutrin.
Don’t beat yourself up.
First, “kill-myselfy” is one of the coolest things I’ve ever read.
I take Bupropion (Wellbutrin) and tolerate it well. I’ve lost almost 40 pounds on it too (normally not a big fan of drugs, I’m just being honest here. I’ve also been eating better and getting more exercise).
