People say suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem? Is it because they had a bad week and got over it? Did they miss out on their whole life because of their own depression? Did they have an abusive childhood? Did the spend their wntire lices depressed and alone unable to connect with any human being on the planet? Are they too ugly to be cared about? Are they unable to function in any meaningful way? Are they completely separate from modern society? Can they go a whole day with out having uncontrollable anger and self loathin and hatred triggered by everything? The answer to most all these questions must be no. There is NOTHING temporary about my problem (s). If it were suicide wouldnt be the most logical option.

Well, I am same boat. Comple
Well, I am on same boat.
Completely agrees with you.
But I do think that life has endless possibilities where death is ‘end’.
I don’t know what should I say to help you.
All I can say is that, on some level, I understand what you are feeling.
Try to hold on.
And not only try, try to make it better.
Death does change people. It changed me.
I don’t want anyone else to change that’s the reason I’m trying to keep myself alive.
Find any reason to hold on.
Find any reason to be happy.
Peace & Happiness For You. 🙂
It also never made sense to me that they speak against suicide because it’s a permanent solution. Why would you want a temporary solution to your problem? Then it would just come back! Of course you want a permanent solution!
Agrees with permanent solution but that solution should contain peace and happiness.
And… I don’t know anything about afterlife.
May be it exists, may be not. May be I will reborn after my death or may be not. May be there is karma, may be not. Well, I am not sure about anything. It is also possible that this is the only life we have, nothing after that. So, there are lots of uncertainties.
And in these uncertainty and pain, I want peace and happiness.
Keeping myself “Alive and Fighting” is the only certain way to have that peace and happiness I long for.
All very valid points, but the people who make the comment “suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem” probably aren’t even thinking about the afterlife aspect of it. They’re just failing to see the lack of logic in saying that a permanent solution isn’t desirable. Those of us on here, who are considering it in greater depth, would be the ones who would think about things like the afterlife prospects.
agree with you brother. you are right
