YOU ARE RIGHT! Things are changing, people are dropping like fly’s, i see a huge difference, i don’t know if it’s good or it’s bad? i hope it’s good, the turn over is tremendous, i’ve been around forever, it seems to me people use to come here to not only tell their stories but to be friends, to laugh a bit to share ideas, to socialize, now it become to serious? the stress is to serious, the world is getting tougher, it’s down to business, is this good? or is this bad? i feel it’s bad.
It’s a suicide site, I take it seriously. I’ve lurked for years and saw super long threads with people talking and making jokes. It got on my nerves. I started posting here because things became overwhelming in my life. I’m not here to meet friends and make jokes so sorry I’m one of the “serious” ones here.
My perspective on this is, if we want to make jokes and post song links, that’s what we have facebook for. This place fills a void that other places can’t.
Brokenandbent30 & kismet, I agree 100% and I’ve always taken heat from the party crowd for saying so. This isn’t meant to be an insult to anyone but a genuine suggestion: if you want to make friends, good around and be silly, try Facebook (it’s what I do when I want to clear my mind). But this is first and foremost a site where people come when they’re ready to blow their brains out or something like that. Bear in mind your audience isn’t necessarily here to have a dance party.
I also wanted to add that I believe there’s a reason why this site is in a blog format. Not a forum or chat room like other social sites. A blog is more individual, private and singular (the nature of suicide). You post a thought because you want to get it out. You don’t necessarily care about replies, and I’ve seen many people who never seem to come back after making their post, like the way a suicide note works.
Hazy is a sweetheart. She seemed to be doing better in her life based on her posts here. She did have her bad days, but overall, it seemed like she’s doing fine. I hope so.
Cordless recently posted something on her tumblr. She’s alive (as far as I can tell) but I’m still worried; maybe she just wants to be alone for the time being…

Yeah, where did Cordless go? I haven’t seen her in ages.
I’ve been wondering the exact same thing. Hazy, too. Although I think I spotted her a week or two ago, briefly.
Yeah, Hazy too. Hopefully they’re just having a better time of it than the rest of us.
Thank you! Go to Facebook or Twitter for that kind of thing.

I do too. Cordless, however…she could be doing good or bad. I have no idea.

@Cordless: Sorry for checking up on you… :\
Oh thank God.
Yeah the site goes thru phases where there are lots of people then only a few then lots again. And the tone changes back n forth as well.
It took days and days for them to except me… to let me post… I almost gave up. That may be part of the problem.
I’m okay. I was locked out of my account. Thank you for thinking of me.
