I experienced happiness a lot when I was 18-21. It was a time of hope, curiosity and freedom. Just moved out on my own, the world was my oyster, yards yadda. I can never go back. You can’t re-learn how to be naïve. Once you figure out how the world rolls you’re screwed until the moment you die. Maybe at that moment of death, things are new and undiscovered again. Maybe I’ll get 2 seconds of happiness.
I’m 21, I’ve fought really hard to stay this naïve, and not to allow myself to be corrupted with the disease of maturity… People see that as your wings, and they are going them off one feather at a time.
A reaction to things that cause serotonin and dopamine to spritz in your brain.
Chilling with friends
Basking by the beach
Climbing a mountain
Finishing a book
Having straight A’s
Passing a difficult class
Watch your enemies burn themselves after trying so hard to bring you down.
Self spa days.
Helping others
Writing
Speaking with someone who should appreciate you
Knowing one person who loves you flaws and all
Getting betrayed by someone you didn’t trust or like and thus swing the dissatisfaction on their country of your expectance and lack of care
Love
A clean house

If I could achieve it I would have it already…..
For me happiness now lies in the beyond and that is something I can achieve.

I like the way you phrased that

Happiness is a loaded gun
I’m sorry, *warm*
