The purpose of porn is to make those who watch it:
a. to make money
b. to create and perpetuate an addiction (to make money)
c. to learn to objectify the other person(s) so you can only view their worth in terms of sexual value
d. to express latent hostilities
e. to perpetuate rape mystique (in some forms)
f. to perpetuate child molestation
g. to teach that pubic hair is now considered to be repulsive, even if it is a symbol of adulthood (see f., above)
But the reason for pornography is mostly:
h. to make both men and women feel sexually inadequate/unattractive unless they have supersized body parts.
This isn’t suicide related, sorry.
