I never did it for travel, I took off and landed in the same airport it was just a small plane and was a graduation gift…. It was simply a recreational flight. I think it was about 2 hours long. It was rather nice actually, even the landing wasn’t that bad. The pilot said that it was a rough landing due to crosswind or something, but it didn’t feel bad or anything to me, it was just kind of a few bounces if anything….
Either way I did actually really enjoy it, it was very different feeling once the plane did leave the ground it’s hard to explain, but it felt a lot different than a car for example. I don’ think I want to go on a large plane though, those are filled with people instead of just one person…. I can deal with small numbers of people but large numbers not so much. And crying babies are annoying.
Agree 100% shatterediris. A small plane with perhaps 4 or 6 seats is so nice. For many years now my flights are just recreational/educational and we take off and land at the same airport too.
The feeling of becoming free of the earth is indescribable. Crying babies? Hell no! On these flights the discount for children is about half I think but even so nobody has ever brought a child aboard even one of them that I have been on.

I’ve flown in 11 planes. Which translates to three round trip trips.
I see. How were the flights?
No problems. I was nervous flying from Philadelphia to London. We purchased the tickets on September 10, 2001.
Why were you nervous?
I was nervous because of what happened the day after we bought the tickets.
Yes but it happened after not before
Oh I thought you flew the day before
I flew on an airplane when the pilot went on strike and jumped out with a parachute on…. we waved to him as he passed the wing…..
Really?
…have pics…..
Who took the pilot’s place in that plane?
It may be a joke. Wanna show me the pictures?
Ahh. Sudden decompression explains your brain damage, Found. She’s full of shit, Hulk. Don’t believe her.

And an idiot.
