People care about other people, but we tend to want them to care more than they do, or more than they are capable of caring. You know how we will always blame our parents for not caring enough, or for not doing this or doing that? That’s what I’m saying. We expect too much sometimes, and when others don’t give us what we think they should, we feel that they let us down, and so therefore, they must not care about us. Just my opinion.
In my case people care about things that most adversly affect them. They don’t care in the way you need them to. So I’m stuck, lonely and depressed, naively waiting for care like Vladimir & Estragon for Godot. Who much like Godot, all the care and love I need is never coming.
I know that no one truly cares about me. Aside from the obvious liars and actors you are going to come across. Lesser known ones can include law enforcement. For me, the police used a story where they saved someone from killing themselves as a way to make their department look good. That same suicidal person would later be sentenced to jail for mental health aid for a couple of years and would be on probation afterwards. This IS why I’m not open up about suicide in public anymore. Note: the guy wasn’t me, but it was a story in my city.
How does one measure another’s depth of feeling? If by words, many here are cared about and loved very much. If by actions? {The sound of chirping crickets]
Caring at the moment. Caring in theory. Caring to sound caring.
Caring de facto can be tiring, but how does one stop caring when others don’t care or never did?
Some people do care, you can tell by their actions.
Don’t put much stock in words, they are the currency of liars
