You’re entitled to your opinions just like everyone else. People sometimes change their opinions also if they get better information.
You can’t go through life without taking risks or walking on eggshells around others because you’re afraid of offending them or losing their friendship.
In fact if your relationships are so fragile then it’s best not to have such people in your life. If you’re in school then I’d suggest make as many friends as you can. Eventually you can create a small group of close friends that you can rely on.
Just don’t expect too much from people, most are rotten and will let you down. People are egocentric and also insecure, some will get easily offended, can’t take a joke or simply misunderstand you.
You don’t seem toxic and usually people who self-reflect are much better than those who think they’re perfect or never at fault. Don’t be quick to blame yourself, chances are, it’s the other party that is the problem.
It’s more likely that you have toxic friends. Such people erode your self-esteem, undermine your credibility, talk shiz behind your back. It’s better to get rid of such people.
Or if you have no choice hold onto them until you make better friends. Since we are social creatures and need that connection with others.
