Does anyone else here struggle with understanding things like music and politics that other people seem to have a second nature for? It makes me feel like an utter idiot and it’s so frustrating that it largely contributes to my feelings of suicide
I think music is a very personal interpretation, songs sometimes remind us of people or times and that song won’t mean the same thing to someone else. I’m not “good” at music and don’t know too many artists or songs or whatever but there are songs that are relatable for sure.
I also don’t care for politics, everything has to be labeled with an agenda for right or left and it’s never just for the people.
Don’t let what you aren’t into frustrate you, focus on the things you do care about.
No, it’s ok, we can live without music and especially politics. When both are combined, it’s toxic. The birds and bees be our music, and Love be our politics.
I’m good at politics talking, bad at music talking, in fact I chat about everything easily and handle it very well but it doesnt avoid me to be depressive and suicidal. You can become more educated but it wont solve your suicidal thoughts.
I don’t understand politics. Politics causes me physical pain. When people start talking
politics my brain just stops. What the bleep is it with the stuff? I know its necessary, and I have no clue how anything “government” works, beyond the very basic parts. It scares me that there is such a fervor created over how we’re governed. Part of me would be content watching civilization fall into dismay and total anarchy and disorder, but apparently I’m in a minority of the questionably insane. Most people want politics and goverment and are deeply invested in it. I’d rather lace a new pair of shoes.
