Nobody cares if I die. Seriously.
It kinda sucks to not have people in your life that help you make the best life, people who understand your real self, your real problems and help you solve them
Maybe I don’t want to believe that. Do you really think, there’s no one, that would be affected.? Some times are just desperate, in which we need to lie to ourselves.
Everybody has their own problems to deal with. It takes time, effort, energy and sometimes money to help others.
If you’ve built up a good network of people you could rely on then they’ll be there for you during your hard times, otherwise you’re on your own.
Given the investment required, that is also the reason few people want to help. Also usually what you put in you don’t really get back.
What bothers me the most as someone who’s bailed out family members financially and helped in a thousand different ways is that once they’re out of their predicament, they have no respect or sense of gratitude towards you.
At the same time though, while I didn’t get repaid by those I helped (except in some cases where I loaned some money), I’ve had others help me out when I was in a bind.
So the saying about do good to others and good comes back to you is true in a way. As perhaps others have witnessed your generosity and know that you’re a decent, reliable person.
We also live in more superficial times now. People who are in need are looked down upon by others who are well off. Only those in a similar situation can relate and would help out.
The best thing to do is to set yourself up in a position so that you never need anyone’s help at least financially. Money can’t solve the need for emotional support for example and that’s where you try to find people who are intrinsically good and value people over money.
But it’s a bit of a moot point esp if you’re grown up as older people are resistant to making new relationships since most are fine with the circle of friends/family they have. It’s best to try to make lasting relationships when you’re young.
I think this post speaks for a lot of us. Probably speaks for most humans even though they don’t know it. Caring is more than words. You can be surrounded by people who mouth the words “I care” but when you really need help, money, a place to stay, a ride to hospital in the middle of the night, or someone to pull you down from a ledge, real help not just words, most people will say sorry can’t help.
Whatever. It doesn’t matter because nobody cares. After the funeral it’s business as usual. I went to one funeral of a friend and saw everyone crying their eyes out, and literally that night they were going out clubbing. smh

I think that’s impossible. There’s always going to be someone.
There are a few people in this world that nobody cares if they die. Maybe for the majority there are people who care.

I’m okay with the fact that nobody would care if I die. It doesn’t bother me.
in some cases, when someone dies, people all of a sudden start magically ‘caring’, but they didn’t care when said person was alive!
Exactly
