I was acting on the supposition ppl are stupid, or in this particular case the brunette pharmacist. There was a tonality to her voice which implied her mind was made up and could not be changed, at least that was my deduction from the other end of the phone. Terror made me bold ” but maybe there was a technical glitch, the Ambien is definitely due today” I said. ” No, there has been no to use your phrase technical glitch, the Ambien is not due for another three weeks” she said with that same tonality I didn’t like. This was it ” so there’s nothing you can do?” I said deciding on one more roll of the dice. ” There’s nothing I can do” she said. I moved my car out of the layby I had pulled in to make this call surprisingly calm.

Sorry my friend, are you able to get it elsewhere or use a substitute while you wait?
Hey Soda, forced off it the last few days so she actually did me a tremendous favour. I think it was the Chinese who speak of a disaster/ misfortune being a blessing in disguise, they were spot on!
Hey RW…glad to hear it was a positive outcome…yes I’d suggest staying off sleeping aids, they’re addictive…natural is best.
people don’t hold themselves to a very high standard, on average, so your expectations of them being low on average is probabably going to be accurate.
It’s not that they are stupid, it’s that they’ve been told they’re stupid and treated like they’re stupid for so long, it comes to them naturally.
*shrug* but this is going to be another thing about how the observer effects how the observed thing appears. I know what I can make out of most people, if given the chance, meaning if the subject is willing. That’s the largest problem, most people would rather sit in their own mess rather than take some steps and maybe become something more.
If the subject is willing, anyone can be brilliant in some way, that’s the tragedy of our species, that most people will never know about it.
