Today I attended a seminar on Internet bullying, teen suicide and onlineÂ predators. (for minorsÂ safetyÂ but I guess it applies to everyone)

Some tips the speaker gave when protecting yourself from predators were

1. Don’t tell anyone you meet in aÂ chat roomÂ your real name. Under anyÂ circumstances.

2.If you are underage do not make it explicitly known. If you feel a conversation is going in a direction you are not comfortable with just tell the person this content is a bit mature for you, or say I am a Minor. Do NOT tell your exact age.

Message for the Suicide Project

This is by far one of the oddest things I have ever been asked to do. But here goes.

Some of you may remember me from a few years ago. My wife died in childbirth and my daughter ofÂ leukemia. I was angry at the world and god. I tried to kill myself. I meet someone here who saved my life. He talked me down from my darkest hour and we became good friends. He too knew grief, we were bonded by pain.

I have cancer

Its ironic really, Ever since my family died (my daughter died of leukemia) i have been battling with depression and have tried to kill myself a few times, i was only just able get somesort of life back this year, but now the optinion of life has been taken away from me.

I have bone cancer, stage 4. im as good as dead. So i guess this will prob be my last post.

Im glad really, all this time i have wanted to die so i could be with my family again, and my prayers have been answered.
