I binged watched 13 Reasons Why this past week. It was very well done. As an adult in my 40s, I wish someone would make a version about someone in their 30s or beyond.

I can see how a high school student could decide that suicide is a logical option even though I don’t agree because he/she has only lived such a short time and the situation making their life hell (evil high school students) is so temporary.

I’d like to see what kinds of tapes an adult who is not in a temporary 4 year situation would make as to why he/she decided to commit suicide.

I’m assuming this site was started by someone in the US. How about getting some admins from Europe and Asia to deal with these freakshows who have been posting while you are sleeping?

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

One of my three dogs has lost his appetite. He is at least 15, but he used to have a voracious appetite up until a month ago. It’s steadily declined, and now he’ll barely eat. I adopted him as a senior dog. He’s had a great life. His original human loved him but had to go into a nursing home. I would take him for visits. On Episode 2.

So I came home for lunch and an official from the county was there. All I could think was “Here we go again”. I asked him “what has my neighbor with the untreated mental illness called in about this time?”. He laughed and said that she’s well known at the county for being a bat shit crazy pain in the ass. He asked me about a sign in my yard. For privacy sake, I won’t go into detail, but it’s for a business that I use. I get a discount for having the sign in my yard since it’s good, free advertising for them.

Here I sit in the same drive thru I’ve been through from time to time for 25+ years. I remember being in this line and feeling on top of the world. Tonight is the absolute opposite.

If I can prevent one of you from going down my path, then this post is worth it.

Engage with people. Join groups. Like sports teams, community theatre, volunteer groups, or one of the one million plus MeetUp Groups out there (or the equivalent outside the US).

If your family members bring you pain theb COMPLETELY WRITE THEM OFF. It’s worth it.

Suicide scares me.
Being dead is what I want.
Dying is scary.

I had my annual physical with my doctor today. I asked him how much I could tell him without getting thrown in the psych ward. He said he wouldn’t do that. I told him that I have serious, planned out suicidal thoughts almost daily, but I wouldn’t do anything as long as my dogs were alive which is true.

So we’re going to try Effexor (the generic). It actually worked in the past and I quit taking it because I felt normal and thought I could manage my depression through diet and exercise.

I wake up every day wondering how can I possibly make it through another day. But somehow I do it. How do we do it? What day is going to be the day I stop and just give up.

Thank you to the creators of this site. Thank you to all who post. It eases the immense mental anguish and emotional pain I feel every day. It made me realize I’m not alone.

This is the first site of many I’ve searched that really helps. So many sites are managed by clueless CSWs and MSWs, many of whom have serious emotional issues, but their narcissism makes it impossible for them to acknowledge.

They do more damage than good.
