This dark, lingering affliction has tempted me for several years now. First started just before I developed tinnitus…..the reaper screaming in my head. That was 4 years ago. Now I’m in a relapse……now the fluoxetine doesn’t work. This cannot…..will not…..go on. 21 is a bit young, perhaps? Anyway……needs must.

The shadow of darkness is too much to bear.
This life, this misery, must come to an end.
No more will I suffer this nightmare.
Too much is broken, too much to mend.
The demons torture and destroy me in my head.

Well after being upped from 20 to 40mg fluoxetine daily after a bad episode of depression I fell that life is more pointless than ever. I have no passions, find no enjoyment in anything at all and have no enthusiasm for anything, as well as having increasing bad social anxiety, making it unfortunately difficult for me to do my work for university. 2 months before my 18th birthday i developed a horrendous condition called tinnitus, which is ringing in the ears or head.
