Scared of dying, but even more scared of living.

I have been through a lot – bullying, attempted murder, attempted rape, none-curable illness etc.. Each time I have escaped with my life, I have found inner strength and saved myself from suicide countless times. Each time I think to myself ‘things will get better’.. But I have yet to see any kind of manifestation of luck.

I am mentally ill. I have suffered with hallucinations, delusions and thought disorder for over a decade. The last year has been particularly hard following a fellow human being physically harming me.

I am not the only one. There are others, multiple hordes, some of whom are people I know, people I even see regularly. Though I am slowly emerging into admitting my illness, they must do so too. Until this happens we are all alone here and we are dead.

There are no similes and there are no metaphors; everything can only be explained and delineated in exact terms. There are continual pressures applied from other people, wherever I turn. Fellow Sufferers:

I’ve lived with Bipolar Type 2 since I was 12 years old.  It is a form of manic-depression in which you don’t usually have psychotic problems, but you do have major mood swings — mild “ups” (hypomanias) followed by normal periods, and then crushing depressions.

I was not diagnosed until my middle forties.  I attempted suicide three times in my early twenties. I still have sporadic suicidal ideas when I go through bad periods in my life. I’m nearly sixty now.

Since Bipolar Type 2 is genetic, it pervaded my family. My childhood was not good, to put it very mildly.
