My whole life I have had horrible luck. I always had to struggle for the things I wanted while the people around me just got it handed to them.

I started self harming when I was around 11 it started out as light cutting on my left arm and then once I made enough cuts I would stop until they healed
One night I decided to write a suicide note and take a bunch of pills. I took around 60 pills of all kinds, some sleeping pills, some pain relievers, some pills that were just there. What ever pills I had I took them

I said things where better and I thought they where. I was wrong though. just hours after my last post all hell broke loose. My dad went crazy he got mad at me and he threw me on my bed and was shaking me and hitting me and I screamed that I hated him. he grabbed me and dragged me head first off my bed and slammed me to the floor. He saw my mom at the storeÂ and heÂ told me that she didn’t want me. Nobody wants me anymore… My family has abandoned me…and I don’t know what to do.

Suicide Attempts

Hi, my name’s Mady. I’m 14, and I’ve tried

killing myself 4 times. I wouldn’t say I have the

roughest life, but I do go through a lot of stuff.

And, like everyone I have bumpy roads. Many of

them in facr. The first time I tried suicide was a

couple years after I started cutting. First time

I cutÂ myself, I was around 10? And, first suicide

attempt I was maybe 11. The first time I tried

cuttingÂ myself ’til I died. I was sorta hoping I

would bleedÂ to death. I don’t know what I was

thinking.Â Second time I Â was maybe 13, and

tried drowning myself, in Â my bathtub. It didn’t

work out bedcause my little sisterÂ walked in.
