I can’t believe it.

She’s gonna die. She hasn’t died yet, but she’s on the brink.

My BEST FRIEND who has cancer is going to be gone forever. I just don’t know what to do! I can’t help her because I’m not magical, but I can’t help feeling that I’m supposed to do something. Seriously, I’m just lost.

She has an overall positive attitude about it, on the outside. But if you have a best friend, you can tell when they are actually fine and when they are scared shitless. She is scared shitless, and who can blame her?

Im 18, inÂ NovemberÂ of 2012 I was in a bad car accident. I had a head onÂ collisionÂ with a tree, as a result i mangled my leg and have and face severalÂ surgeriesÂ and a year and half of recovery. ThisÂ isntÂ theÂ firstÂ time ive felt like ending it all im a ex drug andÂ alcoholÂ abuser. After my accident I thought id have people there for me, but the people I call friends haveÂ forgottenÂ bout me. I have always been an upbeat person; the type who keeps a positive attitude towards living. Since I was ten years old I have had HIV. Even though I still try to stay positive about it, physically I am starting to feel very fatigued and tired this year. A company who I spent three hundred dollars on their self help programs emailed me an ad trying to get me to buy more. I have been doing their programs all year! I definitely feel like I wasted my money on greedy people! Because they wrote me trying to sell me more with an ad titled “They Did it to me!” And that takes the cake!

I lost my best friend.

I lost my best friend to cancer. I first met her when we were 9, we played basketball on the same team. We had clicked instantly. Best friends right away. She lived two blocks away and we always would meet at the park to hang out. She was a year older then me and she was like a big sister. She always had my back and looked out for me. I apologize in advance: this is going to be very unorganized.

I tried to kill myself a little over a year ago, but I was taken to the hospital. I dropped out of college. Around the beginning of the school year, I had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and I withdrew from school for a few months. I don’t want to die

But I don’t think there’s a good way for me to go on living. I feel horrible all of the time. I’ve seen enough doctors, therapists, and social workers to populate a small country. I don’t see any future for me. I don’t even have any dreams to hang on to. I don’t have any friends either. I’ve spent two weeks in the hospital. It made things worse.

It is sad when happy people die; if only we could trade places so that they could go on living.
