Depressed, Rational, & Other

I have always speculated the meaning of my existence, but to no avail. I do not believe that anything has a purpose. There is actions and reactions but the universe has no motifs. Thus I find myself believing there is no reason to live. I don’t think many people talk openly about things like this but I wonder if and I the only one that does. Some people kill themselves from depression or other emotions, but for me its just a rational philosophical view that I do not need to exist. I need some enlightening, 17 is too young to be thinking like this.

When I try to justify the point life I consider what I’ll tell my child when they ask why we exist. Not only do I not know the answer, I don’t believe that there is one.
When discussing my own belief in the futility of life people try to remind me of the good things in life.
Try to convince me that there’s always something good.
Occasionally reminding me that my own loss of life would be devastating to those around me.

I was once nothing. From the nothing I became something. Surely if I return to the nothing, I can once again spring into something.

Awareness is quite a weird thing really. A computer takes input, processes it, gives an output. It is never aware.

A man takes input, processes it, gives an output, and meanwhile there is this pesky thing called awareness observing the whole ordeal. A man that simply does, and does not observe while doing, makes infinitely more sense.

I am only 13. And I think about suicide often. Im so young, and ive had it so hard. Things just confuse me so much. When I was 10 I made a “reasoning book” Every time something kills me a little more inside, and makes me think of suicide I write it down in my reasoning book.
