Spend all your time waiting for that second chanceÂ
For the break that will make it OKÂ
There’s always some reason to feel not good enoughÂ
And it’s hard at the end of the dayÂ
I need some distraction or a beautiful releaseÂ
Memories seep from my veinsÂ
Let me be empty and weightless and maybeÂ
I’ll find some peace tonightÂ
In the arms of the Angel far away from hereÂ
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fearÂ
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverieÂ
You’re in the arms of the Angel; may you find some comfort hereÂ
So tired of the straight line, and everywhere you turnÂ
There’s vultures and thieves at your backÂ
The storm keeps on twisting, you keep on building the liesÂ
That you make up for all that you lackÂ
It don’t make no difference, escaping one last timeÂ
It’s easier to believeÂ
In this sweet madness, oh this glorious sadnessÂ
That brings me to my kneesÂ
In the arms of the Angel far away from hereÂ
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fearÂ
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverieÂ
In the arms of the Angel; may you find some comfort here

Don’t we all wish that we can find some comfort. I had a wonderful place to go and get comforted but that was all taken away. Now I can only hope that I will be taken away into a peaceful place to escape all the hurt and pain.
They played that song at my Daddy’s funeral. I wonder if I’ll see him on the other side…
