I would have scars exactly like yours if I hadn’t let my friend stop me. He wouldn’t let me cut myself again before calling him.
Do you have anyone that you’re accountable to for your physical well being? Just curious, not saying that you need to or anything…
Just know I think of you often. I feel connected to you in some way.
I have also cut myself many times. When I think about it the reasons sound really stupid for me, but I have to admit that there was only one scar that really remained. Maybe I was scared and didn’t cut myself hard enough, but to be honest, I am really happy that there is only one scar. It’s possible that yours won’t go away for your whole life, but I really think that it’s important to live with them…
I honestly don’t know why I am writing such a thing, but when I saw your picture I had to look at my ankle too and I can’t describe the feelings I had at that moment…

i have more experience with scars than is healthy for anyone, & i can say based on the picture that
sorry, clicked “submit” too soon..i’d say they’ll fade with time physically. emotionally is the question.
