Hi this is my first time posting here so I guess I’ll just tell you why I’m here. I’m depressed, I self harm, and I’m suicidal, but I can’t go through with it since I’m scared that I might go to Hell. So now I’m just living here… ugh
Most of us are here for those reasons… I dont self harm anymore (since I started anti depressants) but I am still down alot and think of death when I am not shown love or on drugs.
As for the Hell, I don’t really subscirbe to me. To me… we just stop thought. We are nothing.
My Christian friend asked “well what if you were wrong?!” and I said “I have Faith in it”.
Idk… but if you want to talk I will be here all day mostly.
It’s hard to be stuck between the hell of living and the fear of the unknown. As bad as things are now, there’s always the fear that they will be worse.
Sometimes it helps to talk to people. Hence this place.
I made my first post here less than two weeks ago. It may feel weird to talk about this kind of stuff so openly (at least it did for me), but it’s very comforting to know that there are other people who can understand and care enough to give advice and support.
As for Hell… I’m a religious person, but I never thought those who suffered so much during life that they felt the need to kill themselves would be condemned to suffer after death as well.
I’m not saying that you should go through with it, but those are my thoughts (believe me, I’ve thought about it enought).
I wish you the best.

Think about it, the hell myth was created to scared the crap out of people. If you believe in it, you will by default create it. Life is about spiritual evolution, and growth. We come here to have an experience. There’s this great thing called free will, so it’s illogical that we would be granted free will, then find out there’s punishment for exercising it. Where is the divine logic in that. So it was created by man. But believe as you will. The universe only fosters well being ultimately. Besides, death doesn’t exist and every so called death is a form of suicide. Over time, the mass consciousness has decided that it’s a really negative thing. Not the case. Take care and practice feeling as good as you can while you’re here. There are no fixed rules, only how you want to direct your mind so as to create something positive and good for yourself from within. Cheers!
Several people have said that hell does not exist.
I do not believe in it myself.
However since you seem to be a believer I will operate within your realm of ideas.
You have doubts and fear. And even if that is just the fear of hell, it still is something keeping you here.
There is actually nowhere in the bible that actually mentions suicide being an abomination or a sin. Murder is one of the commandments but just like coveting they neighbors goods it is referring to someone outside yourself.
I know you would prefer not to gamble your soul but several characters in the bible martyred themselves. Others killed themselves but their issue was how they mistreated people when they were alive.
And may i suggest looking for God within yourself. All religious books were written by man and are tainted by bias to get people to think a certain way. Since according to Christianity all people are God’s children that means part of him lives inside you.
Do some deep thinking and analyzing of yourself and see what you can find. And if you feel comfortable find someone who is an open minded believer and befriend them if possible and talk to them.
And here, we will never judge.
Sorry you are here but hopefully talking here can help ease your pain.
Regardless of scripture, I do not believe suicides go to hell; they’re escaping it. Whatever is on the other side, it will judge your action by its cause, not its consequence.

I don’t even know if I believe suicides go to Hell either but I don’t know if I can risk it.
