Where do we turn to when the world has turned against us? Where do we turn to when we have to face lies and acccusations every day instead of the help we all need? Where do we turn to when everyone only cares about what you say, not what you feel? Where do we turn to? Where do we turn to when each and every day is it’s own new level of pain and suffering? Where do we turn to when we have turned everywhere else? Where do we turn to stop our suffering? The answer is strangely simple: We turn to death. We turn to ending our own lives. We turn to the one place that can end our suffering. How sick is that? People are forced to kill themselves because they are so tortured inside and no one else cares. That is awful. And the people that choose to commit suicide are judged terribly. They are called cowards, selfish, and weak. They say we just gave into whatever was wrong, that could easily be fixed. They say only the biggest of cowards stoop to that level. And maybe some people do commit suicide out of cowardice and ignorance. Let’s say a girl commits suicide after a terrible breakup with her boyfriend. That would be a cowardly mistake. People get over breakups. Some people do commit suicide out of cowerdice, selfishness, and weakness. But not all of them. Some people commit suicide because they have nothing else to live for. Some people have been fighting for so long through all the crap and agony in their life, and they literally cannot take it anymore. There is a man who had a bad stroke a few years abck that left his body paralyzed, but his mind remains free. He is trying to make lethal injection legal in some special cases, with the person’s consent, so the person giving the injection isn’t charged of murder. Would you call him weak and cowardly? Would you want to live that way, knowing what you had? I wouldn’t. Some people turn to suicide because that’s the only way for some people. And who are others to know if we can handle our lives? Who are they to judge us? They don’t know us. They don’t know what we go through, what we suffer every day. They have NO RIGHT to judge us. Anyway, all I’m saying is that, yeah, some people are stupid when they commit suicide,, but not all of them. So don’t judge those who do. I am not supporting suicide in any way, or saying it’s a good option, but rather an only option sometimes. It should be a very, very last resort. Those are my views as a suicide attemptee, and I wish it worked. See? You don’t know what I went through. Don’t judge me. So go ahead and disagree with me if you want to. That’s fine. But hey, if you disagreed, you probably still wouldn’t be reading.

I hear you, I am sorry for all that you have been through, I really am. I think that when people try to say something they are often using their own life or a family member’s to make an argument for hanging in there. You are right, sometimes life does not work out the way it should, actually, often it doesn’t. The challenge is to fight on and to grab what is here in this life to be enjoyed and never let the negative people keep you from enjoying what there is to be enjoyed in your life. Time passes quickly so I see no need to put an artificially short ending to it, it will end: guaranteed, sooner rather than later. Why not feel the sun on your arm and the wind in your face until then? The time won’t come again so savor it and remember; we all die after a short time so why speed that, it will come soon enough, just ride the wave out.
You turn inward and look inside and see what’s going on with you! You learn to not take things personally, and cultivate new beliefs that support you. When we confuse our benevolence with the awful experience we’re having we draw conclusions that do not serve our best interests or allow us to feel any good at all. So I’d start with knowing that, and keep intending to make the best decisions for yourself (cause you can only think for you) as you can and trust the universe is always looking after you. I thought negatively for a long time and it’s taken me a long time despite my experience to be positive…it’s a challenge, I still may go out of choice but I do my best to love myself admist this process.
Good luck!
azzy and sofsoul give good suggestions for living.
personally I see death as a sort of get out of jail free card.
if my knowledge and methods are on point and something comes along that I do not feel like dealing with or if I am just tired in general I can end it all.
suicide and life can both be cowardly depending on those who act upon them. such as the rapist who hangs himself to avoid prison time or the financier who cons other people out of their money to make their fortune.
bottom line neither life nor death is more important than the other outside of subjective meaning people put on them as far as we who still are living can prove.
life is a mix of possibilities and fortunes and death is then end of those.
and what the individual does is just choose. just look at what they really want and choose one.
