I am a moron. A complete fucking idiot. Why? For actually trusting someone. And not once, but twice!! Maybe that’s the power of a cute face, it makes you do some pretty stupid shit.
My first date (freshman year in high school) was the result of a dogfight. For those of you who don’t know what a dogfight is, it is a bet between a group of people to bring the ugliest date to whatever the occasion may be. Long story short, beautiful red-headed senior asks my “gorgeous” mug to prom; like a ditz, I accepted (should have known, a girl with looks like mine isn’t normally sought out for). BTW, usually, you aren’t supposed to know that you are in a dogfight; my date was enough of a ***** to let me know that I had won (in front of the whole school…hilarious, right?). To add insult to injury, she is straight; she just thought she’d gain more points if she brought a girl instead of a guy.
My second date (senior year in high school) hurt way more than my first date, which I hadn’t even thought possible. Some of my “friends”, who knew about my past suicide attempts, my abusive father, who knew everything about my shitty past, decided for shits and giggles to DARE my best friend to ask me out. She apparently thought it’d be great, and I, being blissfully ignorant, said yes; I was so damn happy since she had helped me get over the trauma with the dogfight, so she’d never hurt me, right? Well, whaddya know, the next day she confesses that it was all a joke, she never meant for me to take it seriously, we should still be friends, blah blah blah
I have thus concluded that girls are evil creatures that suck out any possible joy you may have, much like the Dementors from Harry Potter.

i doubt that all girls are evil creatures, what i noticed with both of these dates is that they asked you out with some sort of joke in mind, why don’t you just ask someone out instead and hope that they are not as bad as the people you mentioned
Seems like your circle of friends are pretty inconsiderate of you.
Might need to dump them and make new friends.
We can’t trust everyone and learning young how to tell the difference is the best time rather than avoiding people and still having to learn at my old age.
People at your age are trying stuff out and there must be some kind souls around there who perhaps you didn’t notice while hanging with dogfighting types.
Really, looks only matter to the shortsighted. Good looks just mean promenant eyes and mouth (the organs of acceptance…what we look at when we look at people to see if they like us) and features that accentuate those such as high cheek bones and no facial features that detract from that such as a large nose or fat.
Healthy is attractive. Focus on that and on finding and doing somethings you love and finding like minded/hearted people to counter balance your father. Perhaps you are trying to do that but in desperation for it (i am there myself) you moved too quickly towards folks you hadn’t checked out enough.
I love Harry Potter. Usually the evil creature are the Bitchy girls. Some are really cool and nice and you just have to look on the inside, believe me you will find someone for You. I am bisexual at the moment and have a loving boyfriend, but if we ever broke up I’d be lesbian. Guy are much like evil creature as well. I’d compare them to Demetors indeed. They are heartless sometimes.
all bitchy, mean-spirited girls care about is their ego and reputation
if I were in your shoes, I’d have thought of a way to sully the redhead’s rep .. get to her rep -without- looking like a snake, a subtle retaliation .. to sit in a room feeling sorry for myself would only fuel my anger, but that’s just me
‘don’t stoop down to their level’ never really worked for me
* freak, not snake
shes insecure and looking for approval from other friends as well. She agreed to do it because she thought it would make her look cool to the others, that they would accept her if she catered to their cruel joke, but she didn’t think it would be cruel, or if she did she didn’t really think about how it would hurt you. She probably expected you to laugh it off and not take it seriously, she obviously didn’t think you liked her romantically or she wouldn’t have taken the chance, no kind girl would do that conciously…no id say she just wanted acceptance and never thought that you would have been hurt in this process….more over she didn’t think period…and you were an innocent bystander to this failed sense of humor.
