I finished reading this book today and i must say it is absolutley amazing,you won’t regret reading but my favorite part was the ending. I’ll try not to spoil it but it gave me another reason to live,to stay gold,it gave me hope that there is still good in the world,somewhere there is still good.

what’s it about? what genre?
I found I enjoyed most of the books they made us read in school. Maybe I didn’t appreciate them at the time, but later on I realized what good choices they were. The Outsiders, The Breadwinner, To Kill a Mockingbird, Of Mice and Men, all goodies that teach you something about life.
I don’t know what genre I would call it, but in short, it’s about two gangs. Greasers and the Socials (Preps, as I would call them).
“Nature’s first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.”
Trees, poems and books, all things I like.
“Stay gold”, always stay true to yourself, don’t compromise for anybody.
