When a guy tells you he loves you, he really means it. Unless he’s just a complete jerk. When you break up with a guy, he might seem like he’s ok with it, but he’s really dying on the inside. Girls seem to move on to the next guy after a few days of crying. Guys will feel the pain for the rest of our lives. There isn’t a day that goes by when you aren’t on our minds. Nobody could ever love you more than the way we do. I just wanted to let you know. The pain hurts so much, that I just want to kill myself and stop feeling it. I just love her so much and can’t do this anymore. I would give anything to have her in my arms again. I’m trying to find reasons to stay alive, but I’m running out of them more and more every day.

51 yrs old here, I can assure you that men do get hurt, yet I can also say that it pass’s. Been there done that numerous times, everyone has a heart broken at least once
The last time mine was broken I was told to man up, I didn’t get over the hurt for 10 years yet that doesn’t mean I wasn’t in other relationships.

The subtext of the original post is about ownership, intentional or not. ‘I would give anything to hold her again, me me me, I I I.’ never mind what she wants, it’s all about what he wants. Real love is when you do what’s right for the other person, regardless of how much it hurts you
Could it not be argued that u are also imposing ur own interparataions onto his post i mean hes hardly going to talk about someone elses feelings is he? Prwhaps he merely wants her love not to be able to say “ur my ***** do as i say or ill pop u in the mouth” ( a possible exageration) by that logic should she not stay with him if ger leaving is causing so much pain and if she didnt love him by that same token his love for her is a lie and not true love because he fell in love with a version of her amd not the true her? So in theory he is perfetly intitled to wish for her back because what they uad was not true love and therfore he is under no obligation to let her free to get whats best for her
True I interpreted the post through my own eye but I was really attempting to give the other side of the story. But to want someone’s love, if they are not prepared to give it, is selfish and a kinda controlling. All I’m saying is, I get being hurt and in pain. But you gotta respect what other people want.
