I think I need a friend

I discovered this site yesterday through Google or something, I can’t really remember. Immediately, I thought I should become a part of it, whether to just help myself or to help anyone who needs it.

I would really like an online friend or something. Just someone I could speak to about all the difficult times and the things I’m thinking or feeling, and they could do the same. I could tell them all these things and it wouldn’t matter too much because I wouldn’t have to see them in person and have awkward polite conversation.

I’m not the person to speak to if you wish to just rant about suicide, it would play on my mind too much and I’d end up worried sick! I’m the person to speak to if you just feel like having endless conversations about all sorts of things, but also if you have things you have bottled up inside and just want someone to speak to without it directly affecting your every day life. I’d like someone like that.

I’m 17 and female, and I’m not bothered whether you’re male or female, just as long as you’re friendly and interesting.

That felt like a personal ad or something, but I guess it is, sort of.
