I told my mom I was going to join the military and go into combat. She was so pissed. She said I was basicly just getting in a line to go get killed..she just doesn’t know how many times I’ve attepted to kill myself at home…
If the military at any point finds out you have mental problems you will be dishonorably discharged. Most people get discovered during boot camp. Second, women in the military over seas are more likely to be raped by other soldiers. Third front line combat roles for women are not that likely. No high ranking general in the armed forces wants to send back a daughters corpse.
WOW- what effing stereotypes you have of the military. Miss Mayhem- I was in the military. Do not listen to AtTheEnd- he is just talking crap- he doesn’t know jack. With that said- if you want to kill yourself, joining the military would be the hard way to do it. Seriously.
I’ve never been in the military, but my sister was very seriously convinced that she would join for about 5 years. If you’d like to survive through an extremely physically and mentally challenging training period, only for you to possibly end up dying, (since there isn’t a guarantee that you will end up on the front lines, or in a position where you will have a serious risk of being killed), then you should go right ahead, but I agree with bah, that’s a very hard way to get yourself killled.
Oh, and just for good measures, I’m saying that this is a very hard method of killing yourself, but I’m not encouraging you to kill yourself. I won’t tell you otherwise though.
