I want to help people understand that there is some positivity in the way they express themselves. This desire for a painless death that so many people talk about on this site is a positive sign.
You don’t really want to die and you are unconsciously grabbing onto something in your mind as a positive element that makes you want to hold on!
Remember REM: hold on!
Delaying is a great technique! “I’ll do it tomorrow.” Then, tomorrow arrives and you say, “I’ll do it tomorrow.”
Stay safe! I think you all have something to contribute to the world. Having survived a serious suicide attempt, I realise how wrong I was and would love to help anyone in need.

You say you survived a serious attempt. Whyd you do it and how is it better now? And whyd it fail?
Hello calimike,! I tried to electrocute myself. I won’t get any more specific than that!
I did it because I was in a horrible position where I had no place between jobs and didn’t feel I would ever get a new place of employment that I would feel comfortable with, because I have a serious generalised anxiety disorder.
It failed because the electronic device was cancelled by the clips-all switch! That’s what the nurse at the hospital said in 2010. It’s better now because time has passed and I’m not stuck feeling that I need to conform to a social ideal and if people think socially abhorrent people are unacceptable, it’s their problem, not mine!
