I realise that when the moment comes it’s going to be difficult, the instinct/will to live will be VERY strong.
I tell myself I am just one of 7 billion humans who will all be gone anyways, on a planet that will also be gone after that, in a universe that will be gone after that.
“I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it.” – Mark Twain
“I regard the brain as a computer which will stop working when its components fail. There is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark.” – Stephen Hawkins
Any more you can think of?

Acheron,
I like Mark Twains,
I don’t know any sayings but I’ll give you an example why death is good!
lets say people didn’t die and lived to be thousands of years old! so you come home to the old lady and she looks like the fucking mummy!! and she’s feeling frisky!! she’s wearing nothing! and laying on the couch just decaying and stinking!!! and gives you the finger come on over here!!! and your going no way and making the sign of the cross!! keep away from me!! so I guess what I’m saying is that this is one example why death is something to look forward too! 🙂
Thanks for the mental visual Rocketman 🙂
