So I disappointed my folks again
I can’t seem to do anything right

yes nice guys usually always finish last, plan on it! and don’t be disappointed it’s not your fault, it’s their fault.
how about being a nice guy after they are nice to you? instead of the other way around hum?
let them prove there worth before you dump everything you have in them and let them show you want they really are all about.
Nice guys often finish last… but maybe you’re not finished yet? There will probably be plenty of other opportunities to make them… and you… happy.
