There is a loneliness in this world
So great that you can see it in the slow movement of the hands of a clock
People so tired, mutilated, either by love or no love.
People just are not good to each other.
We are afraid.
Our educational system tells us that we can all be big winners
But it hasn’t told us about the gutters or the suicides.
Or the terror of one person aching in one place
Alone, untouched, and unspoken to.
How many times do we have to have people walk all over each other, use each other, and make each other feel like shit before anyone validates how terrible that makes someone feel. This society is fucked, full of selfish cunts who have no compassion for anyone but themselves. You can’t use your freedom of speech in fear of getting attacked; people get off to making others feel as shitty as they do for no reason. I have to live in fear of people, leerily walk around, fearing every meticulous action I make, waiting for the next person’s vicious attack, wondering if it’ll be me next. We wonder why people build up concrete walls around themselves in the same breath we bring them down with. Is it this narcissistic instinct people are born with, or is it just what we learn from observing how others treat their peers. Do any of you really feel any better after bashing on someone, making them feel like shit, criticizing their every action without a concern of how it will effect someone else?
Hey mom, what are your thoughts on this, you’re the fucking queen of arrogance and cruelty.
