Wow, thanks for this post. And that quote… wow. So powerful. I feel the exact same way after losing a loved one to suicide. I mean, as he said, “What else can I do, but preach love. I have to do something.” And the guilt. Forever reaching. And promoting mental health education and erasing stigmas. And as he said in a comment below the post, “if 1 person gets 1 thing from it, then the ripple effect is huge and love gets spread. Then I’m happy.”
Truth.
That was definitely a valuable story. It’s interesting to see how our greatest experiences of learning, growth, understanding, and purpose come from such pain…
