Does anyone else feel like this?
I have prescribed medication I take for depression and anxiety, and one of the side effects of it is becoming dizzy. I don’t overdose to die. I just take extra medication sometimes because it makes me become dizzy and slightly disorientated. I kind’ve love that feeling. And when I spin around in an open space, I feel so light. I feel like I am free. I feel like I can do whatever I want. Like I’ve grown a pair of wings. It’s such an amazing feeling.
Which is why I was wondering if anyone else felt like this? Is it weird that I love this? I love the world just spinning around and around and never stopping.

what medication does that to you… I have some medication i take sometimes but it does not give me that feeling…. They way you describe it sounds fawkin awesome! 🙂
I take lamictal, prozac, and xanax (though the xanax is only for when I get panic attacks, the other two I take daily). Except it’s the lamictal that makes me feel dizzy, because that’s a really common side effect of it. I think it’s the same for prozac, and I think prozac increases the effect of the lamictal. So if I take more than I’m prescribed I will become dizzy. One time I took too much and I was so out of it and I couldn’t even walk without falling. I even fell out of my chair as I tried to sit in it in front of my professor…I learned my lesson and never took that much again. Except I swear I felt like I was on top of the world, and I felt like I had the greatest ideas ever. I felt invincible. It was so awesome. But yeah if I want to feel like what I described in my post, I usually only take like 100-200 mg (of the lamictal) more than prescribed, any more than that, the people around me would notice and I’d barely even be able to get up without falling, much less spin around and feel so free. 😀
Srry to break it to you, but it means you enjoy being high/intoxicated. Especially so if your taking “extra” doses to get that feeling. Drugs can be dangerous, even medicinal pharmaceuticals, they should be taken as prescribed. Xanax is a common recreational drug and will definitely effect motor skills and equilibrium, it’ll also most likely make you forget things you did while high. Stay safe.
I also can guarantee that abuse or recreational use of psychoactive substances, will result, in the worsening of any mental health or behavioral issues.
Well I don’t have enough xanax to get “high” from. Plus it just makes me feel really sleepy. And like I’ve said above I only take xanax when I feel extreme anxiety or get panic attacks. I wouldn’t take extra doses of it because I don’t have that much and I prefer to use it when I actually need it. And I know it can become an addicting drug, which is also why I don’t take it unless I have to. The other two I have to take every day. And I only take more of the lamictal. And only occasionally. It’s not like I abuse the substance so much, because I know how dangerous it could be if I do it all the time. And it’s usually when I’m feeling down or low, because the dizzy feeling does make feel better and like I’ve said, it makes me feel more free.
