i am not on this website because I’m suicidal, im here because I want to help someone who is. I want more than anything I’ve ever wanted, is to be the difference between a life and a suicide. Drop me a message if you want and please know that you aren’t the only one that feels this way. Everyone at some point in their lives thinks about killing themselves, but some people let it turn into a reality. You may feel like it’s the only escape, but it isn’t. There are 7 billion people in this world so there can’t be no one to talk to. Even if you can’t talk to your parents, teachers, friends, that suicide phone call thing, you can still talk to me 🙂 i love you

How does one “live in the moment?”
Are you really asking? I read this post and she never said anything about living in the moment ..just saying
But i can tell you how some people live in the moment if you’d like.
Have you tried helping people in real life?
Tell me few kind words if you want to.
@shellyyy16- hello and welcome to the site. I hope you actually hang out here with us, because a lot of people say they want to help others and just fade away after a short time..or sometimes they leave posts similar to this one and they never return.
There are a few things you should know about the people here. There are a few who have serious problems in life, and when a person is at their end, kind words of hope are actually very insulting to them. There are people (young people) who just stumble in here thinking that they can’t get along in life so they go on and on about killing themselves but never do it..they simply crave attention. Say the wrong thing to them and all of a sudden shit gets crazy here. You can tell who they are by the way they post questions to seemingly understandable issues but when they are presented with actual advice, they generalize themselves as being hopeless. But they have no real issues other than being brats. There are the ones that leave good bye posts every other day but return to either say they didn’t end up doing it, it didn’t work, or someone caught them (just more attention seekers). Then there are the people who put their problems aside so that they can show compassion for others and try to help. It’s admirable, and at the same time gets a lot of negative attention. Sometimes people feel they need to defend this site and keep it “suicide” only, as if no one else has a right to be here. Some people are very hateful towards kindness and advice..they hate themselves and the whole world.
I hope you can use this comment as a small starter guide to what you will encounter here.
I really feel that only about 2-5% of the people that swing through here actually kill themselves. About 60% leave goodbye posts and return later. And the rest is just people who feel lonely and want to talk about death and mortality.
If you are curious.. I am one of the people here who has had (and still has) major life issues but I want to continue to be strong and get better, spreading my advice on recovery and strength. I also tell people how it is, and that comes off as being offensive most times. But the truth hurts anyways.
Welcome to the SuicideProject
