As a political and social philosopher, I developed many ideas over the years – education and prison reform for example, which I may talk about later, among many other ideas. What I want to share with you all today is my vision on bioethics and how my ideas should be turned into federal law.
My ideology on bioethics has been inspired by secular humanism, suffering abolition, emerging technologies, futurology, and above all, choice! Let me give you some examples of what I believe should be turned into law.
1. Euthanasia for the terminally ill or severely handicapped should be a constitutional right.
2. Euthanasia for the mentally ill should be provided for people who still wish to go after a 30-90 day stent in a psychiatric hospital.
3. Everyone in the United States should be automatically enrolled as organ doners so that people who need and want organs can have them readily avalible.
4. (This is probably the most important, complex, and controversial ideas I have) – i believe that it should be a choice for all Americans to have there brains neurologically preserved upon death so that when technology advances enough to allow for biological immortality, the abolition of suffering, all diseases eliminated, and Transhumanism becomes a reality, the brains can be reawakened with a Transhuman body built (via some form of 3D printing technology) around the brain, with mind uploading so that the reawakened can have instantaneous knowledge of how to function in a far future society. To me, this is the closest thing to heaven a person can get. Even the option of temporary euthanasia can become a reality. I thought I invented this idea but seen it later under Neuropreservation (my hair standing on end moment) on Wikipedia and studied the science behind it in depth.
I studied a lot on futurology but what separates me from most is that I put what can be into practical thought. Most futurists look at things in the familiar. I do not. My idea of the future is pretty alien compared to how most people vision it. If you got any questions just ask me.

My last point is hard to explain because it involves a very complex understanding of certain things. I’d have to write a freaking book to explain it.
1. I agree 100%.
2. I agree, but I think the wait time should be a year and I don’t think hospitalization should be required.
3. I disagree. It’s a personal choice. I’m not an organ donor because I don’t want any part of me to live on after I’m gone. Am I being selfish? Probably, but it’s my decision and I won’t apologize for it.
4. I haven’t thought about that enough to have an opinion either way.
Very interesting, agree on all points. Unfortunately, my body has been too poisoned to be an organ donor anymore. I forcing an autopsy of my brain to prove I’ve been poisoned by our Govt. Interestingly 300 brains were being sent to a lab in TX I think it was, went missing. They were supposed to be tested for mercury and other *safe* poisons.
I’m forcing.. even if I have to pay for it myself.
1. euthanasia should be constitutional right?
for whome? who are severely disabled? or terminally ill?
2. mentally ill people should be euthnised after spending a month in hospitals?
what is the difference between the first and the second group of people , for you to give them different strategical rules?
3. what gives you right to talk about my body and make a rule out of it?
4. I am a more of anti_natalist rather than life preserver. so If you want to end the world of suffering, why not try to stop reproduction rather than store our life experience artificially? do you think human “suffering ” will end to bring this people (those who are preserved artificially ) back to life? if your answer is “yes “, define suffering? and i will tell you why it will never end; as long as humans are in the game atleast .
5. what about ugly’s(and/or virgins), misfits, loosers, short people,
low iq people?
6. what about parasites and kim Kardashian ?
7. what about people who don’t want to work?
8. what about poor(as in financial) people?
9. what about the cost?
my stance in euthanasia is to simply make the drug available easily so That “anybody” could buy it. other wise grouping people for euthanasia is Nazism. as it is seen in Belgium and other pro Nazi Countries.
Joinel, you’re back!
I will only comment on your last point. Do you have any idea how much money/energy is needed to preserve brain (in liquid ********) calculate cost and u will find its impossible
There finding cheaper ways to preserve the brain now. Plus it’s a lot cheaper than preserving the entire body. We can foot the bill. If we can afford blowing up Iraq we can afford this
hi tristeza.
@liam
they could just save the brain’s information digitally, since preserving the brain it self is costy, unreliable and/or the brain might be faulty that caused the death of the specimen.
Idk if I should be happy or bad to see you here again.
both:) you still are rolling, that is nice. so Do i:) i don’t see coming to a suicide site as bad though, i don’t see death as a bad thing anymore; since it’s unavoidable.
