“There once was a Gasm who’s name was Or”
“Watering the garden was her favorite chore”
“Red faced men volunteered with glee”
“Blooming her blossems, and planting there seeds”
“Or was the happiest woman in town”
“A Gasm like her could never frown”
“With a lot of hard work, and 10 second breaks”
“It was time to rest, with a tummy full of steak”
How do you all like my poem? Feedback please!

If this offends anyone I’ll take it down
A guy named Steve did the hiring at the last place I worked at. When he would read applications from job seekers he would throw away applications from prospective candidates who misused “there”, “their” or “they’re”. That was one of his pet peeves. (Same with “here” and “hear”).
There; Denotes a location. “The car is parked over there”.
Their; Plural possessive. “That is their car parked over there”.
They’re; A contraction of they are. “They’re walking to their car now, it’s right over there”.
Steve sounds fun.
Haha I wish I could get guys, especially my dream guy that would be an earth shattering experience and rip the fabric of space and time. Lol
I think if my brain doesn’t explode first I’m gonna have some weird dreams… 😉 And I’d like to know what a Gasm is, because after the first two lines I was picturing a giant.
Gasms are short people… taller than a hobbit but shorter than a (average) person…. at least so I’ve been told.
Ahh… it’s making sense to me now.
Lol I have no idea what a Gasm is. I thought I made it up but if Morris is right. It’s taller than a hobbit and shorter than a man lol
Hehe nice poem
Thank you so much everybody. Even in my darkest hours I can find something to do
Omg please never take it down. This really made my night. I was having a bad time, but this gave me a laugh. Thank you so much!
Hey thanks! I’m really glad I can bring a smile to your face! I’ll try to do more poetry while I’m still here.
i understood every line except the last part. “It was time to rest, with a tummy full of steak” does it mean pregnant? please elaborate.
