Kathunt, I’m sorry you’re going through all this. It looks like there are quite a lot of things you’ve been having to deal with the last several years – the dysautonomia, after-effects from the concussions, issues with your family, and long-term depression thown in on top of everything else. That’s quite a load, physically and mentally.
In one of your posts, it sounded more hopeful, that maybe you’re finally surrounded by people who are more supportive. Is that no longer thale case?
Also, is there any hope of getting physical therapy and being able to reduce the amount of medicine you have to take? That sounded like something you were really hoping for.
I read a little about dysautonomia over on www .dynainc .org/ (i added spaces in the link to avoid comment moderation). It sounds like something pretty challenging to live with, but many people are having some success. I didn’t notice anything about physical therapy treatment, though, just use of different medicines for the various symptoms.
I suppose no progress in improving things with your parents either? College is tough enough, even when you do have good family and friends supporting you.
As far as the depression, doesn’t the school have some kind of programs or support groups that might be helpful? Just hoping to explore other options.
You’ll find that the people on this site will be supportive if you really decide that suicide is the only option. But at the same time, we always hope it’s an absolute last resort.
