She stands there as the wind blows past her face. The rush of the air is nothing compared to that of her heart. Does this really excite her? Standing here as the world rushes by her, and thinking that if she took that step this could all end. Oh, she’s “okay” nothing terribly terrible’s happened to her recently and she has school and that lovely man waiting at home for her every night. So why does she stand here? Why do these demons infest her? Why is it that she can’t seem to stay happy anymore, or just get up and work. She knows what she has to do, but… but what? She doesn’t even know anymore. I’m tired, she thinks, I just can’t do this right now. Knowing that doesn’t help though, knowing that nothing’s really wrong right now doesn’t help her get over it. Get over the demons that wait behind that calm and pretty face, the one everybody but him sees. These demons rip her apart from the inside, making her feel this rush, as her heart beats faster they watch on. Does she want to give them the satisfaction though? Apparently not, because she snaps out of her trance and takes a step forward. Tomorrow will be no easier, and maybe she will perform this strange ritual every day until she takes that step, but until then she is determined to live. To fight.
Hope this didn’t suck too much MissDysphoria
