I pulled the emergency break on my downward slide. I decided that putting up a decent fight is the least I owe my sons. If things don’t get better, suicide is always there as an option later. So I saw a doctor this morning, and she straight away organised admission to a psychiatric facility for me – and that’s where I’m now. Just unpacked my bag. I am lucky that I have private health insurance, and can use the private mental health system, and as a voluntary patient I’m not locked up. Still, I’m numb and exhausted and just relieved that I will have a complete break from all the shit at work, and that those endless thoughts in my head – I will kill myself – I won’t kill myself – endlessly fighting for which thought will win, can rest. Sort of handed over responsibility for that to the nursing staff.
Hugs alround to those who need one.

SoVeryTired,
good choice “I decided that putting up a decent fight is the least I owe my sons.” they need your help to, if not today tomorrow.
That is great for your sons (and for you). Well done. I hope it helps and you get some rest in your brain. Hugs and good luck.
This made my morning, that you rallied and took control of your mental health.
As for the comments issue: email the SP admins on their Google email account. It is a problem with the site and nothing you did. Your comments are being sent to spam. They can fix that.
I can’t imagine how hard it was that you needed help and your voice couldn’t be heard.
Hi Hazy
“This made my morning” – how heartwarming that is to hear, from someone I’ve never met, and on the very other side of the planet (I’m in Australia). It’s early morning for me now.
I think you got me confused with somebody else. My voice was heard (by the health professionals at least) as soon as I even whispered “help”. I’ve been hospitalised 5 times before, and my psychiatrist knows me extremely well. He agreed to admit me over the phone, as it’s the weekend. The general practitioner and the hospital organised everything. My p@ rtner took me there and was incredibly supportive. I really can’t complain.
All it took was from ME, to decide I do want to fight back one more time. X
Really wonderful to read this post. i hope you get some good rest and come out Not So Tired 🙂
Hey…how are you?
