I just read this article… I guess the jist of it is, this guy, once successful, racially profiled and thrown in jail, didn’t do it, got the crime he didn’t do wiped off his record, gets job offers because he has the experience, but doesn’t get the jobs because he’s homeless. After the appearance of this article, maybe some kind-hearted person will come to this guy’s aid, lend him some cash so he can fly to an interview, and get the job he deserves. This article was simply infuriating. Racial profiling indeed.
A company did fly him to Florida from Seattle for an interview and back to Seattle, they didn’t hire him. 🙁
And, I would be infuriated, if the extreme level of hopelessness and discouragement it makes me feel didn’t weigh so heavily on my heart and soul. 🙁
That hurts, someone should help…
