I can relate to this. When I use to act FAKE “smiling, laughing, acting like nothing is wrong” I would feel like exploding because it wasn’t the REAL me.
But most people like to be around others who are “smiling, laughing, acting like nothing is wrong“.
So, it’s either –
– have a lot of friends when I act FAKE and feel like I’m in prison and I want to explode; or
– have no friends when I act REAL and feel more content with my authentic self.
that’s not really what I meant by it, it is more that I do have fun, but when that is over…. real life strikes again.
I do have fun, but I am not happy, actually I am irritated by the people around me, the people who are all the same.
beacause, I am actually different.
and I am not afraid to be.
