I was reading about suicide statistics today.
Men are 3.5 times more likely to accomplish it than women. Men use methods like a gun, women just try to talk people to death. (Which results in prolonged torture, not death).
I definitely know some chatterbox women that would fit that category.
And also some chatterbox men as well.
In real life, I am actually the disturbingly quiet type, determined to mind my own business.
Yay for shattering the stereotype, I guess.
I second what Cordless say, tbh many men (myself included) LOVE to hear themselves speak.
The funniest thing ever is this Danish rapper who made a whole rap song about how women gossip, and I’m sort of thinking: dude, you’re a rapper, maybe you shouldn’t be throwing rocks, know what I’m saying?
Hahahaha I don’t know, I actually thought it was funny, but yeah yeah ita sexyst… bah
I believe in that quote to a point. I do believe that our soul lives on after this life somewhere… but I believe for some it will be a good experience after death, for others it might not be so good. But well. Kurt ended himself…and apparently he was a tormented person in order to do so. For me it is weird to be a guy like him who had so much success to end his life that way. but non of us really know what is going on inside another person. I hope he is resting in peace.
I love Kurt Fucking Cobain (KFC). I fear he was technically wrong on this one. But whatever. At least he had poetry. I used to have that, now I just rely on science and materialism and it sort of isn’t as wise.
As a huge Cobain fan… He definitely had struggles, but I doubt the suicide. Consider me a conspiracy theorist, I just can’t see him doing it. Although, I don’t buy into the Courtney did it camp either. Tragic, regardless. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hollywood execs hit him. I mean, grunge was so anti-materialism, there just wasn’t enough profits. Kill Cobain, kill grunge, bring in post grunge, market your ass off.
I dont believe for one minute that Kurt was killed. I believe it really was a Suicide.
I read a couple books about the guy and he stated to his friends and close peers quite a few times before he died that he was suicidal. I even heard him say it himself on camera that he wanted to die by suicide. He even said, “I have suicide in my Genes” and he also wrote a song called “I hate myself and want to die” I mean the guy just wanted to die and he did it. Suicide Ideation is in his art too.
I also read somewhere (possibly in a Rolling Stone interview with someone connected to Nirvana), that someone had told Kurt that the stage design he had asked for for the MTV Unplugged gig would look like a lot like a funeral, and Kurt was like “Yeah!”, really enthusiastic about that prospect. That was shortly before his death.
The other thing is that according to Find a Death, he somehow managed to blow his brains out without messing up his face.
