There is truth to what you say. As the saying goes its a dog eat dog world out there and most people don’t want to help you in your weakness, but they will cut you down for your mistakes.
Sad but mostly true.
This woman did see your tears and the pain in your heart.. So, maybe you feel like no one really cared, but that is not the case. Some care more than you will ever know. You had someone who would have been there for you so, no, I don’t agree with this.
I think people see the tears, sadness and pain but they can’t handle it. It takes a strong, thoughtful person to reach out to tears, sadness and pain, but little effort or brains to criticize and point out mistakes.
Much of the world lives weakly in cowardly denial, tearing others’ down to make themselves feel strong. However we the sad, depressed and pained are the stronger, surviving being repeatedly bashed by others’ indifference.
So let the ones who reach out to help us be our rocks… let the rest be just pesky seaweed.
People notice anything that is sensational or unexpected. If you screw up and build a bridge upside down they’ll notice. Or if you build the world’s best bridge out of toothpicks they’ll notice. We all have a tendency to think its all about mistakes but that’s only half the story.

If you make a mistake they only remember you for the mistakes but they quickly forget the good you have done. Its sad that it has to be that way.
