Hello everyone. For many years now, I’ve been interested in cutting. I was initially attracted to the concept of cutting, that is, self-inflicted mutilation as a means to relieve stress, but was unable to give it a shot because I participated in activities that usually involved me getting undressed (working out at the gym, martial arts, etc) and I understood that if I started cutting, these markings would be easy to detect and suspicions would be raised.
However, since my situation has changed considerably and I do virtually none of those things now, I was wondering if someone would be so kind as to share with me pointers regarding cutting–where and where not to cut, what to cut with, techniques, etc.
Please make sure to comment on my first posting–“The First Word Was ‘Dream'”–with your email addresses and I will send you all emails with a proxy account, whose address I will not mention here (it will be very obvious that it’s me).
Thank you.

We’re obviously not allowed to discuss methods but from experience I can tell you, you don’t want to cut I have scars all over my body and every time I look in the mirror I feel very unattractive no to mention they’ll burn when you shower but if you insist on cutting (because I do as well I can’t say stop you shouldn’t do that) I can honestly say PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FOR YOUR OWN SAKE keep your cuts clean I did not keep my cuts clean my cuts have gotten infected and everyday I look at them and almost cry because it’s so painful and so ugly it doesn’t bleed when ripped open it is just puss it’s very nasty and not for the squeamish (HDS if you read this I will allow you one I told you so you warned me about this)
I appreciate your input.
To go further into detail if you do decide to pick up cutting as a habit the best place will be on your chest you will be able to hide it easily and you have more room to work with now I wait to get hate for giving you pointers
there is no reason you should get hate for your reply. it doesn’t break rules and isn’t a discussion about methods. you gave constructive advice on a topic you understand well.
knowledge is power.
Agree Sau. Its more advice on how to do it as safely as possible, ie keeping cuts clean. Rather than risking more damage by not knowing. Although, if you think you can avoid it, cutting isn’t something I would advise
@deadman: I would never say I old you so. i would just recommend something to lessen the scaring and help with the infection. Last time my fingers got infected I took my dogs antibiotic. Not my proudest moment but it worked.
ProTip: Make sure the antibiotic is safe for human consumption.
