So, here’s a little diddy I’ve composed. Just wanted to prove I can string together a coherent concept. I’ve titled it “Intensify” because it starts out with arpeggios, then chords, then power chords.
Again, this is a raw recording. I didn’t bother polishing it.

That was groovy, dad.
Dad?
‘Dude’ is over-used, ‘man’ sounds overly dramatic, ‘bud’ is condescending and ‘daddy-o’ has a 50’s vibe to it.
Dad is respectful but informal, I’m sticking with it, dad.
LMAO right on
Alan Ominous, no matter how incomplete it is i hear a lot of good ideas, that’s how they write hits.
Sweet child o mine- guns n roses, that was a warm up exercise Slash made up. He was pissed at the idea of using it in a song.
Nothing else matters – Metallica, James hetfield was noodling while on the phone. Hence why it’s all open notes.
Yeah, it’s cool how ‘Nothing Else Matters’ does an E-minor with the last 4 high strings wide open and it sounds really good. Most (many) of their songs are so complicated /technical but that one is straightforward. It’s plucking one string at a time.
You don’t have to be super technical to sound good. Hell, ‘Blitzkrieg Bop’ is A-D-E and it fucking rocks.
Alan Ominous, There you go! always keep an open mind.
Yeah! 😮
This is promising.
It does sort of remind me of Guns n Roses.
I kept waiting to hear you sing, but alas!!
