I’m working tonight. On a 15 minute break right now. I’ve noticed something odd and wonderful my job gives me a massive sense of purpose when I’m here. I’m just a CNA. I know that isn’t much. It isn’t anything major. But I work in the long term care industry. I take care of people who ant take care of themselves. I don’t know how I wound up here, but I’m so glad I did. Sometimes it allows me to forget the bad things. I’ve really taken that for granted. I still don’t want to be here. Still want to disappear. At least if I have to be here, I get to do something wonderful with my time. That’s something I think I can hang on to

And the people you are taking care of appreciate you for what you do. How small you think your job might be you still have a great positive impact on the lives of others. You must be a caring person or else you would not be interested in these people who need care. That’s something I know you can hang on to. Let the sun be at your side Sammi6xoxo, you are worth it.
Im so glad you found something wonderful in your job! But I cant believe you called yourself JUST a CNA! I was a CNA and it is no small job. Those people you care for depend on you. You might just be the only one that cares for them. There are times that YOU are the most important person in that person’s life. I just want to say thank you! I know you dont get much praise in that job but take it from someone that knows what you do…….. You are awesome!
