Do you know how to speak some Japanese? Because I cant understand a word they’re singing… have you ever heard of Deerhoof? They’re a sort of J-Rock punk band, I think… at least that what they appear to be from the indie rock channel on my tv
Deerhoof? They are American, speak english in the songs. they have no association with japan or asia for that matter. i have no idea why you thought that lol.. Eitherway, it seems maybe they get some of their inspiration from asian music. idk..
I thought they may be Japanese because whenever they come on the indie rock channel it shows a picture of an Asian chick singing, so I assume the lead singer is Asian American

A friend of mine got me into all kinds of Japanese rock. He sends me clips of him singing. He has an amazing voice and can sing in this style. I love it when he sends me songs. These guys sing like no one I’ve ever heard. Them and a lot of the other bands I listen to. Amazing stuff.

no deerhoof is not japanese at all, all members are american.
