If you look at the news, all you see in this world is murder, rape, injustice and evil. I am so tired of all of this. I dont want to be a part of this disgusting place. I just dont understand. What the hell is wrong with people?

Couldn’t agree more. The world is beyond sick. Not that I’m much better, or anything. But still.
On the bright side (no pun intended)? One day, our dying sun will swallow the earth completely. So we have that to look forward to.

Yeah I get quite annoyed by it too…. But I do sort of wish I could make things worse too…. I’ve sort of gotten to the point where I just stopped caring about people and want them to suffer more :/ It’s their fault…. They shouldn’t have sucked.
The basis of the news is to show the most horrible things, all the time. “If it bleeds it leads”, is the old saying in news. However, there’s also plenty of good in this world, which the news does not show.
A lot of the people doing those evil things probably wake up in the morning and ask the very same question. Who are we, what are we doing, where are we going, why are we here, and how long will this go on? It seems like a lot of people want to bring it to a stop sooner rather than later. You exist. So do other people. Which of those two is the problem that needs to stop? Is it right to even call it a problem in the first place? I don’t think it needs a solution so much as a redirection, a reshaping. The news is a massive distraction that exacerbates the problems in society. The tension there needs lessening before the strings break, and plucking at it like a harpstring won’t help anyone. Yet, that’s exactly what gets good ratings, and so it’s exactly what the news exists to do.
I can understand evil, injustice and murder. But why rape? why do people rape other people? Out of sexual frustration? or to show power? or becasue they are insane? if you have even average social skills then you can get at least one girl in your life, she may not be a 10 out of 10 but she should be enough for your needs.. and if you can’t then you have porn and you own hands to play with. why should there even be a need for such a vile thing like rape? I truly hate rapists.. fuck them
I think the better question is…. why do ducks rape each other? Why do living male ducks rape dead male ducks? Ducks are much more horrifying than human beings. They have pneumatic corkscrew penises. Female ducks have vaginal canals that wind in the opposite direction of the male duck’s junk, which I think is nature’s way of saying, “Screw rapist ducks.”
i agree. There is a lot of evil in the world and it seems to be getting worse. Now some people argue that it has always been this bad but I disagree. I think it has gotten worse in my lifetime and I am only 44.
I am going to say something now that is NOT Politically correct, but I am going to say it anyway.
I think there needs to be a CLEANSING of the earth. I think all the good people on the earth need to stand up against the growing evils in the world and wipe it out once and for all. Now> I know that you cant completely wipe out all the evil in the world in the snap of a finger. But you can surely wipe out a lot of it, or even most of it if we really tried. I call it a cleansing of the earth. I think it need to be done.
Murderers, rapists, child molesters, terrorists, drug lords, organize crime people, violent etc… we should just eliminate them all. Non of this bullshit of trying to reform them and keep them alive in prison so they can appeal their cases over and over at tax payers expense and then send them back out into society to re-offend. Fuck that> eliminate them all. Round them up and give them a quick death.
Then any ideology or religion that preaches death And violence needs to be done away with. All the music and media that encourages harsh crime and murder, violence etc needs to be done away with. I think its time for the world to get tough and get rid of all the bad seeds before the world just completely goes to shit. We also need to get rid of all the media that encourages people to do evil in the world.
I think it needs to be done… and it needs to be done quickly before evil overcomes the world.
I would love to see it done in my lifetime.
The world really could be a great place if we cleansed it from all the evil. I believe it could be done… maybe not 100 percent overnight. But if we all got serious about cleaning up the world from evil.. I know we could make it a much safer and better place to live.

@PhantomCitizen43 but even if you get rid of all the bad people.. then some of the rest will become bad with time because of some reasons. then you will have to kill them again. unless we can control people’s minds, we can’t create a world free from evil. but if we control people’s minds then they will be robots, not people. What’s the point of keeping them alive after that?
The only evil in the world exists in us as much as everyone else. If there ever was a cleansing of the world, the people doing the cleansing would in turn be just as stained by evil as the people being cleansed. In essence, the cleansers would have embraced an ideology of violence and death in response to ideologies of violence and death. The world would still continue going to shit. I liked how Orwell put it, “A boot stamping on a human face forever.” Boots don’t have faces – only the humans wearing the boots have faces.
I dissagree. I think that the reason why there is more and more evil in the world is because we have gotten weak in response to dealing with it. Meaning People are more in tuned to do evil if the evil is unchecked. Evil people around the world pretty much know that they can get away with so much… and that is partially why they do it. If we started to wipe out all the evil doers… then 1) we get rid of a whole bunch of scum that the world does not need… then we also send a messge to the rest of the world… You will be wiped out if you turn evil.. so more and more people woud think twice before going down that route.
This is how I see it. Justice does not come automatically in this world. We have to UPHOLD justice to make it work. As I see it we are too leniet on evil. We allow it to go unchecked… we give to many evil people too many rights… and the evil people take advantage of thier rights to continue to do evil. Look at all the people who get off on major crimes because the paid a lawyer to get them out of trouble. Look at all the crime bosses who continue to be crime bosses even from behind bars.
We need to wipe these people out … and make the world a place where evil is not tolerated by society.
Evil will overcome the world when good people do nothing to stop it.
I believe in stopping evil… Not allowing it to continue and get worse.
The world should be a safe place for people who chose to live a good life and abide by the rules. Currently we have way too many evil people making life very difficult for good people to the point where life is not safe anymore.
The world was a safer place when I was a child. It wasnt perfect. But it was much safer… I hate to see the world move in this direction…

What exactly is evil? You know, a lot of (what we might call) evil people in the world might look at us and think we’re the evil that’s plaguing the world. If you lived in one of the third world countries in or around the middle east, it might be hard not to think that way. After all, a flying death-machine might mistakenly kill you because you were talking on a cell phone in proximity to a target the death-machine pilot was tracking via cell signal. Even if you did agree that the intended target was someone who should die by way of flying death-machine, you can’t reason with a missile. Meanwhile, we in the west are blind to that dynamic playing out – we only see the backlash from it when it impacts our own countries and communities.
But in western cultures, if you really want to do evil, just get into a position of power and authority. Even if someone calls attention to the evil you’re doing, the fact that you have power means that the people around you will rush to your defense in an effort to protect the status quo. If civilization as a whole made an effort to root out whatever we’re going to call evil, then the targets of that campaign would probably migrate into positions on the side of the campaigners. They’d turn into the enforcers, because that’s the sort of thing they’re already drawn to. It’s like how we in America regulate our financial industries, to protect the public from gross abuse – we hire people from that industry because, you know, they have experience and understand it.
I think it makes more sense to work with what currently exists. We’re organic bags of flesh that adapt and change, and we can respond to reason and the experience of shared humanity.
Yes, all humans have the same potential to be destructive. We can always excuse our actions by whatever justification we invent, but we dismiss the justification others invent as evil or stupid. It is the behavior that matters, not the justification. One person behaving with violence or cruelty is allowing the exact same destructive principle to control them as the person they are destroying. This is why it will never end. People would have to reach inside THEMSELVES and change. Not going to happen because we absolutely love the “us versus them” mentality. It provides scapegoats and feeds our selfish desires.
Just want to add: rivets, your comment above “The only evil in the world exits…..” is excellent. The world be so much more peaceful if humans could see this.

My question for you is this… Who gets to decide what is evil and what isn’t. Like rivets said depending on your upbringing and point of view I think it would just be a never ending war of different points of view. Kind of like religion now……….. Hence my thought of I just dont want to be here anymore. It will never end. People as a whole suck.
No one is 100% evil or good 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Did you know that Hitler was a vegetarian who was very kind to animals? Based on that description alone he sounds like a pretty decent guy.
On the other hand, the all-knowing, all-loving diety known as God has slaughtered more people than any other character in history.
Not all news is bad news, occasionally they’ll broadcast a report on the winner of a dog show.
Hitler also dabbled in impressionistic painting. I think G.W. Bush was in the same genre. They were just a couple of flamboyant rightwing whackos who painted stuff and liked animals.

In fact, the more “good” you are or do, the greater your chances of suffering, being powerless and dying early.
The bottom line is: you survive until it’s time for you to die.
Look at the things we’re advocating here in this thread!! Oppression. Prejudice. Violence. Hatred. Giving authority to one group to judge others and eliminate freedom. But that’s okay because it’s always ‘somebody else’s fault’.
